Hello! Welcome to my journey on tea, books, plants, movies, and anything else that interests me! I like to think of myself as happy-go-lucky, and I love exploring new places, cultures, and things. I generally write spontaneously, and try to keep my writing to be a reflection of my state of mind and inner thoughts at that point in time. (So I'm going to do something a little different, and write what music I'm listening to as I write a piece; see the bottom of the page). 

In many ways, I'm more unsure of my life direction now than 3 years ago, when I was waiting to enter university. Life was simpler back then...Perhaps this is why I think it's time for a revamp of my blog. Do I know exactly where I'm going to be taking it? No I don't. But just like drinking tea, where every single flush and brew is different, I'm going to embrace life. And trust the decisions that the past, present, and future me takes.

I became an urban farmer for 9 days

    First night in our cozy room   During these COVID times where we all itch to travel but are confined in Singapore, where better to have a staycation than in the 'rural countryside' of Lim Chu Kang? So, together with two of my friends, we stayed at Oasis Living Lab for 9 days (thankfully, with a weekend break at home). While we're nowhere near professional urban farmers, there are definitely many lessons we learnt from this short journey. So here's my take on urban farming in Singapore and why we should all start farming, or at least grow some veggies:   1) Farming connects the grower back to nature's roots Honestly, I can't remember the last time I touched soil before staying at the farm.
